8.5” x 3.25” Plain Colour Card stock

Score on the long side at 3.25”, 3.75”,7”,7.50”,

Round the corners.

Pattern paper: Cut out 2 of 3”x3”, 2 of 3” x 3/8” and 1 of 3” x 0.75”

Round outside corners on one of the 3”x3” and on the 3”x0.75”

Attach to outside of your cover centralising on each section. With the rounded corners on the two outside flaps. Fold in on score lines.

Inside

12” x 12” White or Cream card stock

Cut into 4 of 3” x 12” and score them all at 3”, 6” and 9”

Fold in concertina along score lines.

Attach all four together by glueing end flaps together then glue last end flap into cover.

Cut pattern paper into 2.75” squares and stick to pages as required.

To close book use frilled elastic ribbon or make a belly band.

Belly Band

Cut Plain Colour Card stock 1” x 9”

Cut Pattern Paper 0.75” x 9”

Stick pattern paper to centre of plain card strip

Wrap around closed book and glue together overlap.

Punch Flower out of contrast card and attach to centre and decorate with gem.
